The apartment and the whole building is significantly older and in much worse condition than the profile lets you believe. The building is under significant renovation still which is also left out of the listing, getting in and out of the building and to the hotel reception to pick up your key (they manage the entry and exit for the apartment) is time-consuming, stressful and not at all pleasant.
When we eventually got into the apartment, it smelt musty and unclean, which is was, in actual fact it was filthy with dirt and debris, sticky residue over the chairs, complete lack of furniture and what there is is old and worn out. The floors are full of broken tiles. We refuse to stay due to the condition, they informed us they would put us into another apartment. The second apartment was cleaner, just, but still in a terrible condition furniture wise. the shower was dirty and full of limescale.
We demanded a refund and left immediately, it took 72hrs for them to eventually agree to a refund and only after I threatened legal action if they didn't, and Expedia was zero help stating that the reservation was 'non-refundable' so it was 'up to them'.
Do not book Stay Cosy, you really wont.
