Check in was at 3pm and we showed up, at 3:30 with not much but a small sign with a code, to check in. I got a generic text wanting my reservation # and name. During this time I got a text “how are you” from the person who I spoke with about a week prior. He wanted us to go next door to some Chinese restaurant and eat because the room wasn’t ready, and they needed an hour. I explained the level of baggage we had. After a lot of texting, he said we could meet a security guard to bring us up to the room to drop off our luggage. No security guard came, but we found someone who was staying there to let us up. We received a fob to get to the pool that we basically could only look at, while we were over dressed since we just came from Massachusetts, which was 4 degrees out. We come back, it’s now 4:55pm. They wanted 10 more minutes. I guess the people before us stayed over their time and somehow we paid the price. We had been traveling since 7:30am, we never got to use the pool, we never got to really relax, and all that was offered to us was a full refund if we canceled. Mean while we had no car, a ton of luggage still in the room, while we sat on a couch in the lobby. It was 530pm by the time we got into the room. 2 of the windows were stuck open, which was uncomfortable at 60degrees at night. The beds are only a full size which isn’t ideal and I wish I knew. Thankfully this was only for 1 night.
