The property is in a poor state, the outside doors to the block don’t lock properly, the car park is restricted as they have placed very large storage units in it and there is a lot of litter in the car park. The hallways of the complex stink of cigarettes and cannabis. Someone propped open the fire safety doors and would often prop open the entrance doors causing security and safety issues. The apartment itself wasn’t particularly clean, the bathroom smelt of urine, there was a pair of men’s trousers screwed up in the bathroom cupboard, the shower was missing its door and had a shower curtain rail installed but no shower curtain- so every time you had a shower the tiny bathroom would get wet. The positioning of the toilet makes it challenging to use if you need to sit down as there is very little leg room- poor design and best suited to very short people. The main bedroom wasn’t clean and in desperate need of a vacuum, the bed is so big it’s a struggle to get around it without hitting the tv which is on the wall- I’m only 5ft6 so not tall! The kitchen was okay but barely had any cutlery given that it could supposedly sleep 4. Also only 1 wine glass. One the dining chairs was broken with no attempt at repair. It also looks like some of the people are living there and not guests - maybe emergency housing, not a big issue but it’s not really a hotel style holiday let that we were led to believe from the marketing blurb. Not what we were expecting. It’s functional.
