«Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!»

«The property is really beautiful; gorgeous views, stunning room, and the private onsen is incredible. Absolutely no feedback on the room, grounds, staff, property, etc all amazing! It’s nice that dinner and breakfast are included given that you are quite a walk uphill from Gora and other restaurants. The food is presented in a beautiful setting and the service was wonderful. That being said, the food itself left much to be desired and given the price, we expected it to taste better. »

Ken and Ise were very welcoming and helpful with helping us get settled, finding our way around Nikko and just generally friendly and helpful. If you're interested in a more homey atmosphere vs. Corporate hotel this is the place for you »

«Helpful staff, clean place and room for storing luggage under the beds. There were also lockers you could use free of charge. The cafe downstairs was a great place to meet other travellers. All in all a good stay, would definitely go back!»

«房間相對來說是偏小的，整潔度還可以，溫泉很舒服，但附近生態好，露天溫泉比較容易看見小飛蟲，會在意的可能選室內比較好，早餐還不錯，櫃檯人員都相當親切，貓貓也很可愛，附近有超市離車站也不算遠，相當方便»

«Wonderful stay! Our friends were late in arriving and they held dinner for them. The dinner and breakfast were amazing. The staff speaks limited English but worked hard to make everything perfect for our stay. I would recommend staying 2 nights to really experience Kinosake Onsen.»
