«The Purple cottage was a fantastic stay for our family! We didn’t want some fancy pants resort. «We spent a week in Harbour 6 in October , the house itself is gorgeous and the pictures don't do it full justice. The location is brilliant for the beach and local eateries as well as grocery shopping. "We stayed at the hotel for 9 days and overall had a mostly good experience. The highlight was definitely the beach.. calm waters, crystal clear and perfect for relaxing. That said, there are a few things that need improvement. The food was more or less the same across all the restaurants, which got a bit repetitive over time. Housekeeping came at very inconsistent times each day, and one day they didn’t show up at all. The biggest issue, however, was the service. It often took more than 15 minutes just to get water, and a few times we waited up to an hour for our meals. There were also several occasions where staff seemed to mix up or forget our reservations or requests. In summary: beautiful location and nice setting, but the service level definitely needs to be raised to match expectations."
