«My husband and I stayed for 6 days for carnival, from booking the stay I could already tell the hostess was very friendly and helpful. We got there and she was the sweetest, explaining everything we needed to know and helping to offer with anything we may need help with. "We stayed at the hotel for 9 days and overall had a mostly good experience. The highlight was definitely the beach.. calm waters, crystal clear and perfect for relaxing. That said, there are a few things that need improvement. The food was more or less the same across all the restaurants, which got a bit repetitive over time. Housekeeping came at very inconsistent times each day, and one day they didn’t show up at all. The biggest issue, however, was the service. It often took more than 15 minutes just to get water, and a few times we waited up to an hour for our meals. There were also several occasions where staff seemed to mix up or forget our reservations or requests. In summary: beautiful location and nice setting, but the service level definitely needs to be raised to match expectations."
