"The hotel is a bit outside the old towns of Riga. It means a 5 minute walk to the 'touristy' areas and the main train and bus station,while at the same time having a very quiet environment at night. Despite being quiet, the area surrounding the hotel felt very safe.
The room itself was standard, with all the amenities basic but functional. The fridge was quite handy (but a bit noisy). The bed was very comfortable though, and that's the main priority here.
Breakfast was included and very basic, but it did the job for me.
The room was in some need of maintenance. Everything was still functional, but well used. Paint was peeling off the walls, the grout of the floor tiles was missing, potentially causing water damage to the construction. As a result, some tiles were loose, too.
However, staff was nice and efficient, and the price I paid was difficult to beat. I'll definitely consider staying here again the next time I'm in Riga! "
