«Such a lovely relaxing stay at spicers. It’s very quiet and feels very secluded in a little garden setting. We had two fantastic meals at the Long Apron and the staff were warm and welcoming. Only minor disappointment was that there was no balcony to our room, so nowhere to sit for our morning coffee. Other than that everything was delightful. »

«We were greeted by the very friendly Russ when we arrived, who immediately showed us around the property and explained how to use the tv remotes/other things in the unit. The room was surprisingly spacious and had plenty of complimentary food and snacks. The property itself has a lovely garden, with croquet, finska and badminton, as well as a path to a bit of a bush walk. «The property itself is beautiful and quirky which we loved. The kitchen train carriage is also great and it's a wonderful area to stay in. Breakfast was OK, but very basic. Our main issue was privacy - which varies depending on the room you're in. This was not accurately described in our opinion and we were disappointed to discover our bedroom faced directly onto a shared verandah. We had other guests right outside, literally 2 metres from our bed - and with very thin verandah doors and ...

«The surface of the dining room table was not very good. The surface was sticky, as if the surface had gone off and the glue was coming through. Did not clean up. Also the WIFI was terrible, I missed 2 nights of my favourite shows as I couldn't connect to streaming services. The room was quiet though and the bed very comfy.»
