«The surface of the dining room table was not very good. The surface was sticky, as if the surface had gone off and the glue was coming through. Did not clean up. Also the WIFI was terrible, I missed 2 nights of my favourite shows as I couldn't connect to streaming services. The room was quiet though and the bed very comfy.»

«A lovely old building. We had the spa bath room. Next time I’ll ditch the bath and ask for a room with a view. Check in person was lovely and competent. Room was clean and nice, not modern but that’s ok we knew that when booking. I would say to anyone who has mobility issues to be aware it is positioned at the top of a steep hill… so if you’re planning to walk to shops etc you will need to have reasonable fitness to get up and down the stairs or pathways. »

«Et hotell litt utenom det vanlige! Hotellet er lite, og ligger i en herskapelig bygning fra 1800-tallet. Fellesområdene er pent oppusset og staselige. Rommene er det nok lengre siden noen har gjort noe med, men hele stedet er veldig sjarmerende. Ikke dra hit hvis du ønsker et striglet, nytt hotell - velg dette hvis du vil oppleve noe annerledes. Merkelig romløsning mtp bad/toalett på rommet (man må være GODE venner for å dele rom her!), men det var rent, og behagelig seng. Det er heller ikke ...

«We had a lovely stay at the Belfry guest house! We stayed in a twin room for 3 nights. The room itself was nothing special (justified by the price) however, it was clean and comfortable which is all we needed. The house had nice amenities and shared spaces. Staff were all fantastic. Overall very pleased with our stay. Thanks! »
