  • Summary:

    Enjoy staying in the heart of the 1st arrondissement with this charming 1-bedroom apartment located on the 2nd floor of a secure residential building — NO LIFT. Self check-in from 3:00 PM by collecting keys at a nearby location. Wi-Fi is available, great for both work and leisure. A refundable damage deposit is required.



    The Space:

    Welcome to this charming 35 m² 1-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of a building without a lift, perfectly situated on Rue de la Grande Truanderie in the heart of the 1st arrondissement. The apartment is professionally cleaned before every arrival so you can settle in straight away.



    Bedroom: 1 double bed, Living room: 1 double sofa bed. The flat has two bathrooms: the first is accessible via the hallway with a shower, bathtub and toilet; a second WC is accessible via the kitchen.



    The living area is a great space to unwind, with a flat-screen tv and dining table and chairs.



    The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need: full fridge, microwave-oven combo, stove, dishwasher, Nespresso Classic coffee machine, and electric kettle and toaster. A separate washing machine and dryer are available for your convenience. The flat has electric heating throughout the cooler months.

    Good to know before you book



    Check-in: From 3:00 PM via self check-in — simply collect the keys at a nearby location. If you’re arriving after 7:00 PM and need someone to meet you with the keys, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Late arrivals between 7:00–9:59 PM incur a €50 fee; 10:00 PM–12:59 AM is €90; after 1:00 AM is €120. Please note that any late check-in fee must be paid in cash upon arrival. We’re flexible when we can be — just give us a heads-up!



    Check-out: By 10:00 AM.



    Damage deposit: A refundable damage deposit of €800 is required before arrival. It may be processed via a third-party payment provider such as Stripe, Swikly, or Flywire. The deposit is returned in full within 14 days of check-out following a standard inspection.



    Max guests: 4 people (including children and infants). Please keep within this limit so everyone is comfortable.



    Smoking: The apartment is non-smoking throughout.



    Events: The apartment is a private home and not suitable for parties or events.



    Guest Access:

    The accommodation is private and exclusively for guests during their stay. Free Wi-Fi connection, information on Paris and restaurant recommendations, sheets, towels, soaps and much more.



    The Neighborhood:

    The 1st arrondissement sits at the very heart of Paris, home to the Louvre Museum, the Palais Royal, and the lively Les Halles district. The neighbourhood blends historic grandeur with everyday Parisian life — you’ll find world-class museums and galleries alongside neighbourhood bakeries, covered passages, and the fragrant flower market at Place du Châtelet. The Seine is within easy walking distance, and the central location means you’re a short walk or metro ride from virtually anywhere in the city.

    Wi-Fi may occasionally be affected by area-wide connectivity issues. Please note a noise monitoring device is installed at the property entrance for extra security and to ensure the peace of the property. This device is not located in any sleeping area or bathroom. Photos are as accurate as possible — minor updates may not always be reflected immediately. Management may occasionally need access to the property for inspection, maintenance or viewings (between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM with reasonable notice). In genuine emergencies, access may be required without prior notice. We’ll always communicate as much as possible and be respectful of your stay.

The property was exactly what I wanted for a short trip to Paris. Restaurants were right outside the door. Everything was a short Uber ride or metro ride away. I would stay at this location again.

Loved the apartment! Great location - metro was available around the corner but almost everything was within walking distance! The apartment itself was very roomy and loved that there was an extra powder room available. Would have appreciated an extra set of keys - it was difficult to coordinate when my daughter and I had different plans. It would have been impossible if there had been more of us.

Such a cute apartment! It's spacious, the bed & sofa bed are very comfortable; kitchen has everything you might need. Wifi connection was good, never stopped working. The value is great, because the location is top.

Property was nice. Location was great. Host was very responsive. When opening the pull out couch the sheets were dirty and comforter was not clean; it was stained. When I reached out to the host, they said they’d check with their cleaners and they did. They responded by saying it was a permanent stain and for me to change the sheets. I expected clean bedding upon arrival and to not have a comforter on one of the beds for the entirety of our 9 night stay was less than ideal. I stayed with my two kids, and in the two bathrooms there was one roll of toilet paper, between both bathrooms in the unit. Again when I reached out to the host they were responsive but we were tasked with getting toilet paper so that we had enough for our 9 day stay. Not ideal when travelling in a foreign country with children. Had their cleaners, thoroughly checked the property, I think these things could’ve been easily avoided. Hopefully they will in future for their next guests.

We stayed here for a week in August. Great communication and clear instructions through the booking process and during our stay. Beautiful, clean, quiet, light and airy apartment. Heaps of cafes and restaurants on the doorstep as well as the Westfield Shopping Centre and public transport. We had a few hot days and nights during our stay but the breeze through the windows and fans got us through. Loved having the kitchen and washer and dryer. Such a great location. Thanks for having us.

I would not stay at this property again. While the location is excellent, the apartment itself was uncomfortable and the management experience was frustrating. The unit receives virtually no outdoor ventilation, and during hot weather the apartment became extremely hot. There is no air conditioning, and the single fan provided simply circulated warm air. The floors were also very creaky throughout the apartment. Downstairs neighbors also smoke so the space gets filled with smoke if you open the windows. Basic amenities were lacking. No soap or shampoo was provided, which was surprising given the cost of the stay. The biggest issue was the check-in and check-out process. After my flight was cancelled due to weather, I was required to pay a €90 late check-in fee despite the delay being completely outside my control. Communication was difficult because messages appeared to be handled primarily through an automated system rather than by someone empowered to resolve problems. Checkout was even worse. The far away key-return kiosk would not recognize the fob, the support number did not work, and I ultimately had to return to the apartment and leave the keys there as instructed. This caused me to miss a scheduled Uber to the airport, incur additional expenses, and experience significant stress while traveling in extreme heat. Overall, the combination of poor ventilation, lack of basic amenities, and cumbersome management procedures means I cannot recommend this property.

Full disclosure: I did not stay overnight because of a series of horrible communications. I asked if it was possible to make some date shift changes (I paid for 4 days and was asking for 2 total so they could monetize the 2, and ended up only wanting 1.) The initial response was very positive about this possibility. A moment later a second message arrived, and in one paragraph the answer was (again) we will check to see if this is possible. And in the *very next paragraph* it said this is not possible. So I asked for clarification. I don't fault them for a policy that does not allow changes. What I do fault them is using AI to communicate with me that gave completely conflicting responses, even in the same message. When I asked for a real person to respond to my question, I kept getting AI responses. It was very obvious by their use of the empathetic first sentence including an em-dash, which is a telltale sign of AI writing. And then not addressing my actual questions at all. I later asked for information on transportation to and from CDG and it told me that information was unavailable. What *human* who knows the exact locations and has many guests getting to/from their VRBO to CDG would not be able to offer even an estimate of this information? I went able to find online sufficient info to realize that it was going to cost more to get to/from CDG and the VRBO overnight than to stay in what was a beautiful airport hotel. So I did that and now recommend Les Herbes Folles.
