Ok on the surface but then after initial impressions, as the stay progressed we discovered that the property is run down with broken things and things not working adequately. Lost 5 pool days to unprepared pool and maintenance..when attempting to address the issues with the owner her exact reply was "what.ever.",..unhelpful and rude, and failed to fix broken blinds and continual problem of ants streaming in through front bedroom window which has a gap that cannot be closed, leaving things unresolved. What is not disclosed in the listing is that the property is managed by Horizon. Having stayed in Horizon managed properties previously, had I known..i would not have rented to stay. In my experience these properties including this one are much in need of updating even for the basics... Dead ants all under bedroom window so not cleaned adequately. Leaking sink. Bathroom fans don't work. Dishwasher doesn't clean dishes and has very much seen better days. When the heating failed during colder days Horizon failed to respond to message left on out of hours voicemail and we were left cold at night for the last two nights of our stay. Towels old and scratchy, cutlery dirty in drawers. Mattresses on the beds are uncomfortable to the point springs can be felt and heard with every turn especially in the king bed. Neighbours unfriendly, taking photos and standing staring whilst we were sat by pool. A car charging in the garage throughout our stay. I would not recommend this property!
