The Space:

Between a location only minutes from Disney World, endless resort amenities, and your very own private heated pool (free), get ready to unwind and make memories to last a lifetime.

An open concept space meant for gathering, the home’s main living area has a modern design filled with greenery, wood details, and wicker accents. When imaginations are active, you may feel transported to a tropical jungle. And the rest of the time it feels more like you’ve just stepped out of a design magazine. Rest and relax on the large sectional couch facing the smart tv and your screened-in pool area where kids can splash and play away in the Florida sunshine.



The beautiful kitchen is a part of the home you’ll want to enjoy with its contemporary feel, stainless steel appliances, and full suite of cookware. Share meals at the formal dining table while reliving your favorite parts of the day, and wind down with a pleasant evening walk through the private neighborhood or on the resort’s nature trail.



Jewel of Emerald Island accommodates 8 guests in 4 private bedrooms:



- Bedroom #1 has a king-size bed, smart TV, and ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo.

- Bedroom #2 is themed for Toy Story lovers and is furnished with 2 twin size beds and a smart tv.

- Head under the sea in Bedroom #3 with 2 twin size beds, a smart TV, and Princess Ariel artwork.

- Bedroom #4 has a king-size bed, smart TV, and ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo.



THINGS TO NOTE:

- The home has an additional bathroom with shower/tub combo.

- Washer and dryer in unit for guest use.

- Heating of the pool is free.

- Parking is available in the driveway.

- REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY EMERALD ISLAND RESORT TO AVOID NON-STAYING GUESTS AND THE TOWING OF VEHICLES. There is a $20 fee per car to register your vehicle and receive an access card for up to 1 week stays.

- Please note that this home can accommodate up to 2 dogs, with an additional pet fee of $35.00 per pet per day. This fee is not included in your final booking price. If you are bringing dogs, please contact our Customer Care Team after booking to pay the pet fee.

- Grill may be rented for $115/ week for your stay. Please let us know if you would like this added.

-In case of hurricanes or inclimate weather or due to necessary repairs, certain amenities may be closed and unavailable during your stay. We cannot guarantee the availability of each amenity​ in the community.

-Due to unusually high amount of theft and destruction we regret to tell you we no longer supply wash clothes. If this is a “must have” item for you, you may request them ahead of your stay. Thank you for understanding as this helps keep our rent low for you and your family.



Jewel of Emerald Island could not be better located with Disney World and all if its rides and attractions only 3 miles away. The fun doesn’t stop when you leave the parks with endless resort amenities right outside your door. Enjoy the exclusive clubhouse, playground for kids, private nature trail, fitness center, sauna, heated pool, hot tub, sand volleyball, and sports courts. In addition to the fun you’ll have on property and exploring Disney parks, other nearby attractions include Sea World, Universal Studios, Lake Kissimmee State Park, and The Kennedy Space Center.



Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of $30 per additional hour requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging.

Excellent home. I expected it to be nice from the photos but I was actually surprised at really how nice it was. Nicely updated, great layout. Quiet neighborhood. Family loved it. Grand Welcome was very responsive to every question I had. Would easily rent this one again.

Wonderful Base

We had a wonderful 4 night stay here in April 2024 while we were visiting the parks. Beautiful property in a fantastic location. Would highly recommend for families or friends visiting Orlando together.

great family property close to Disney

We enjoyed the games room! Thank you for the comfortable couches. The dining table was a pain in the rump dealing with all the dishes set on table. We would not eat off them as we didn’t know how long they’ve been sitting out or handled. Towels were a bleach stained & ratty. Not enough toilette paper or garbage bags for our brief stay. Wash machine is dirty inside drum & needs a good cleaning. The condo smelled moldy.

Perfect little getaway

I can’t say enough great things about this home and the wonderful community it’s located in. My husband and I had our two goldens with us and from living in the pool, to the fun in the game room during the Florida pop up storms, to the over all comfort “home” feeling you have here. Our only down side is there is not a fenced in back yard, but with that being said there is a beautiful large community space behind the house that we’re were able to exhaust the pups with a few tennis throws. It’s also a great space to exhaust kids with all the running they can do, lol. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. A plus for us was how close it was to shopping, great places with the family, Disney, and so much more, yet you feel like you’re tucked away from it all. We hope each family has as much of a wonderful time as ours did. (FYI: Lazy Dog has a dog menu for your poochies to order from ♥️)

Reasonable

Property is very clean & home is just as pictured. Plenty of room for our family, kitchen is well stocked and decorated so nicely, Pre-registering our cars into the community took several messages/phone calls to both the community as well as the property management company but apparently the process had recently changed so that was a little frustrating as I felt like the middle man. Also, the property must have been mulched the day we arrived or maybe the day before. It smelled so badly like manure & there was a serious fly infestation both outside & inside the home. It made sitting out by the pool almost unbearable. I reached out to the property management company to let them know but there was never a response. Also, the neighbors out to the back were so loud, playing crazy loud music, screaming/yelling until all hours of the night every night of our stay. We called the gate house multiple times but they wouldnt address the noise problem which made for a very exhausting experience as we couldn’t get to sleep. The homes are all very close together so I would say just be aware if you have young ones that are light sleepers. Overall, the home is nice and reasonably priced but not sure I would ever rebook due to the flies & noise.

Emerald Island stay

Overall a very nice, clean property with ample space and fun amenities like a pool, table tennis, air hockey and an arcade game! Only real issue was responsiveness of owners a couple times.. had sent a note early am on day of check in asking if earlier check in was possible...they didn't respond til the NEXT day.. then said it was ok to check in an hour earlier...but unfortunately 24 hrs too late. Then also sent a note letting them know previous guests/neighbors had put trash in bin without a bag (which won't be taken) but they didn't seem to understand? Pool screen also appeared torn slightly in a couple places. Again, overall a very nice place that very much enjoyed, but better/more timely communication needed and a little tlc in the pool area would make it even better!

Great home in a great location

We really liked this home and the jungle theme that follows through most rooms. It was clean, comfortable and cosy. There was everything we needed. The resort is very clean and beautiful and the location (near everything!) is fantastic. The kids especially liked the garage with the games and the pool.

The home worked perfect. pool was perfectly heated. Enjoyed game room

We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well equipped. Clean and nice neighborhood. We kind of missed having a grill outside. All the houses we have rented typically have one. Also, would have liked some cleaning items like a broom or swiffer. We were there 2 weeks, that would have been helpful. Also, some pool floats and toys would have been nice also. But, thosr are just some suggestions. All in all, it was a good fit for us while we were there.

Wonderful, quiet retreat close to Disney parks and restaurants

This house was wonderful! Nicely decorated, with a floor plan that worked great for our family with two main bedrooms separated by the kid rooms. It had a well stocked kitchen that opened onto the living and dining rooms which all looked out on the pool. The heated pool and the game room in the garage were a fun way to spend evenings and breaks in between Disney parks. The neighborhood was beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. All the Disney parks were within a short distance of the house and the main road with all the restaurants was only five minutes away. Would definitely book again for our next Disney vacation.
