I will be more than happy to express my concerns about the worst hotel experience in my adult life.
The online photos are extremely misleading. There's got to be some truth in advertising.
It was difficult to find the hotel since the light on the main sign at the entrance from the street was burned out. So was the neon sign on the hotel itself.
Virtually anything that could have been wrong with the room was wrong with the room. Paint was peeling on the walls, lights didn't work, the place was filthy, the towel rack was crooked and the vents in the bathroom were falling from the ceiling. The bathroom fan and light wouldn't shut off and there were gaping holes in the shower where mold will surely be accumulating from all the water penetrating. There was soap and toilet paper left from the last unfortunate guest. Also, the tub finish was almost entirely gone. I was worried about bed bugs, barely slept and was afraid to use the shower or walk around without shoes on. It's also very clear that there are people living in the hotel full-time.
What a disgusting surprise but we arrived so late and had to get up early for a conference so we unfortunately didn't have the luxury of cancelling our reservation after seeing the state of the place.
I have plenty of photos I could show you but I am quite sure that I am not the first person to complain and you must already be aware of the state of the place. In fact, when I went to the front desk to express my concerns there were two
