«I rented this property for my husband's 40th birthday. The good: Visually, it is stunning. We had a 10 person dinner party on Saturday. We enjoyed a pre-dinner cocktail hour before the dinner upstairs near the bar. The dinner was flawless (shout out to Furloughed Four) and everyone enjoyed themselves. Everyone had very private quarters. our elderly parents were perfectly situated on the main floor, no stairs was a bonus for them. The kids loved the pool. «My husband and I were celebrating with our wedding party and stayed at this amazingly affordable spot in NOLA. Near all where you want to be in an up and coming neighborhood. We could not have asked for a better place for our group of 13. The bathroom situation is solid with all 4 rooms being accessible via the main room. «Super well appointed. Plenty of space for 6 people, close enough to all the activities but far enough that it felt like we could truely decompress at the end of the night. There’s a trolly 3 blocks away but don’t count on using it, it was completely full every time we tried to- however it was spring break so that may have contributed to the crowdedness. «Our group of 7 adults enjoyed the property. It was about a 3 block walk to the St. Charles streetcar, so eliminated having to drive. The property itself was so fun, we felt we were staying in a funky museum.»

«Two kids loved the house. They went on fishing charter and caught 34 fish redfish, trout and a big catfish. Loved the swamp tour on the airboat. Large alligators and raccoons came very close to the boat. Six adults and two children. Close to New Orleans but very quiet and relaxing area with great views from all the decks. We will be back soon. Karen the property manager a pleasure to work with.»

Das Bett war allerdings so weich, dass man sofort ca. 30 Zentimeter einsank, wenn man sich drauflegte. Wer es weich mag, wird seine Freude daran haben, wir konnten deshalb nicht ganz so gut schlafen.
