«Myself and 2 family members chose the Aalsmeer houseboat to explore Amsterdam and Keukenhof gardens. The houseboat is super cute. It’s a 35 minute walk to the bus station and we took an Uber for 10 euros because it was raining. Then bus to Hoofddorp to catch a train to Schiphol airport then on to Amsterdam Centraal station. «Wir hatten wunderschöne 7 Tage und wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben. Alles war so unkompliziert und super netten Kontakt gehabt. Klar, ein Boot muss noch extra dazu gebucht werden, dass könnte auch im Haus mit inklusive sein, zumal man das Haus nur über Wasser erreichen kann aber es war auch sehr unkompliziert in Grou eins zu mieten für die Woche, da gibt es genug Boote. «Albert is the best host. He greeted us when we arrived with fresh tulips and showed us how everything worked. He helped us navigate the two biggest celebrations in Amsterdam. The houseboat is clean, very modern with all of the modern conveniences.... including heated bathroom floors. We will be back again.»

«The houseboat meets or exceeds expectations from photos and descriptions. It is very well appointed with great amenities and in a great location. Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. We have stayed in Amsterdam before but have never experienced it like this and would highly recommend. It is a destination in itself.»

«We really enjoyed our stay at the water villa. Aalsmeer is a lovely area and the villa was well appointed and very comfortable. As a matter of fact, I think the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in away from home. The host was very responsive to any questions we ha. We would definitely come again!!!»

«Such a great location. Close to everything and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for! Host was wonderfully accommodating which we really appreciated! Only very very minor complaints were the water didn’t get hot enough to utilize the bath, (I like scalding hot baths!) and the internet was in and out a bit. Everything else was amazing! «Einzig die Elektrik des Hauses hat uns genervt. Mit den Touch Dimmern kann man nicht nur verschiedene Lampen ein - und ausschalten, man kann auch die Fenster öffnen. Das sorgt teilweise für Verwirrung. Das vor dem Schlafzimmer keine Tür ist, ist zwar optisch schön sorgt Nacht aber im Alter für unruhigen Schlaf. Auch, das die kurzen Treppen kein Geländer haben stört wohl nur im Alter.»

«Ein schönes und gepflegtes Hausboot mit schöner Lage. Alles im allen war es ein schöne Erfahrung auf dem Hausboot, leider muss ich eine negative Sache anmerken. Leider hat bei uns der Mülleimer sehr starke nach Aschenbecher gestunken, dieser Geruch hat sich leider Tage gehalten. Zumindest immer dann wenn man die Schublade zur Mülltonne öffnete. On the other hand, it is very tattered, dated, rickety and an electrical nightmare. Extension cords and hidden switches everywhere and very dimly lit. Floors covered with throw rugs that all overlap; the walls and ceilings covered with fabric that has been stapled on. And, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet.
