The check in was great. But when im in the room the lamp switch didn't work so i had to disconnect it from the wall.When i was leaving in the morning i hear this loud commotion from a room next to my cheverolet suberban and as i open the trunk a man pops out and asked me if I spoke Spanish. I said yes and he says u parking to close to the wall and housekeeping can scratch your truck with the cart. I said im leaving already no worries. He then passes by me as im walking back to the room and he says hopefully they scratch it. Mind you this is a painter. Not security or hotel staff. A painter working on the hotel. Then front desk tells the painter do whatever the hell you want i don't care. Then comes housekeeper bolting out of front desk screeming. If u ask me i have never experienced such an aggressive stay ever. I can imagine if i didn't speak Spanish. I wouldn't of known everything they were saying about me snd my truck. Threatening to damage my truck was not something i was expecting while im checking out. But you can't expect anything better from the cheapest hotel in town. Floors dirty and haven't been mopped in who knows how long. Mind you i asked front desk if my truck was ok and he said you are completely fine there. No need to move. But in the morning he's telling the painter do whatever the hell you want. The hotel is called Gables Inn. Not Havana inn. Get u some American speaking staff because talking Spanish only....Im latino but confrontation like that is a nono.
