Our stay did not meet expectations, especially considering we booked a Preferred Club room. The room was not ready at arrival, and once we checked in, the floor was dirty and required additional cleaning. The room itself did not feel upgraded, and Preferred Club benefits were unclear and did not justify the added cost. The Preferred pool and spa areas were also consistently cold.
Service throughout the resort was slow and inconsistent. We often had to request basic items like water refills, and communication barriers affected the dining experience. Food quality was disappointing across the buffet, specialty restaurants, and café—many dishes were bland, repetitive, or served cold, and several food safety concerns were observed.
Entertainment options were minimal and not particularly engaging, though the turtle sanctuary and the assistance from Mark at the pool concierge were highlights. The spa provided the best experience, offering excellent service, though at a premium price.
Overall, the resort did not deliver the level of quality, service, or value advertised, and the Preferred Club upgrade did not enhance the experience as expected.
