The place is so cute and unique. We loved how we could we walk to many fun and interesting areas every day. The host made the whole experience easier and 100 percent on communication. I loved my time there. Note they do have stairs only to get to the apartment, so plan to be more fit by the end of the trip. Thanks for everything!!

Most. Amazing. Host. EVER.

First of all, the apartment is just magical, with every corner featuring Pachi's intriguing, unique and fun art. I've been an avid traveler for decades, and I have never stayed at a place with more character. The location is also perfect as you can walk literally everywhere you want to go. The MAIN appeal, though, is Elena. She is just a jewel of a human being. She is so thoughtful, kind, helpful and understanding... truly beautiful both inside and out. I feel like I made a new friend before I even met her.Thank you, Elena y Pachi, for an amazing stay in your FABULOUS apartment. I can't wait to return. :-)

Such a wonderful stay!

Casa de la Moreria is an exceptional accommodation option for those seeking a fantastic home base during their visit to Madrid. Situated in an outstanding location in the La Latina area, the apartment is less than a ½ hr walk from a wealth of amazing places, such as Plaza Mayor, Museo de San Isidro, Royal Palace, San Miguel Market and so much more, allowing guests to easily explore the city's top attractions and landmarks. The apartment itself is a true attraction on its own, showcasing a creative and visually appealing décor that complements an impressive array of modern amenities. Guests will delight in the fully equipped kitchen, AC, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an excellent shower, all of which contribute to a comfortable and convenient stay. Moreover, the gracious hosts, Pachi and Elena went the extra mile by providing a variety of delicious Spanish treats upon our arrival, demonstrating a genuine commitment to ensuring a memorable experience, and being all-around amazing people. Pachi created many of the fantastic works of art that grace the apartment, and Elena checked in via text just the right amount. Elena even enlisted our cab driver and the two of them helped us with our luggage by doing most of the work lugging it up the stairs! The apartment is located on the 4th floor, which may pose a challenge for those with mobility issues, but we firmly believe that the overall quality and allure of this accommodation make every step well worth it. Could not recommend more highly.

So fun!!

Elena and Patchi are the best! Before our stay, Elena sent many terrific recommendations for restaurants, museums, and wonderful places to visit in Madrid. On arrival, we received an incredibly warm welcome and then help carrying our luggage up the 80 (worth it!) stairs to the apartment. Inside is Patchi's and Elena's terrific art throughout, and floor-to-ceiling antique glass doors that open for fresh air and wonderful views of the neighborhood. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and featured a gift basket of candy, cake, biscuits, potato chips, crackers, and a fridge stocked with milk, orange juice, soft drinks, and more. I can not say enough to describe how much fun we had staying at Elena and Patchi's apartment. If their place is available, grab it!!!

We were fortunate to stumble upon this apartment on VRBO…For starters, we enjoyed the fun works of art sprinkled all around the apartment…In all our years of vacation rentals, we don’t think we have found so much enjoyment in an apartment and its owners… the owners were super responsive to all my inquiries and generous with Madrid restaurant/entertainment tips provided before we even landed in Madrid…The 5 flights of stairs were actually an easy climb even for seniors like ourselves …The apartment was immaculate, the kitchen was super WELL stocked…We appreciated the apartment’s relaxing views and conveniently location…Every facet of the apartment worked like a charm. In short, this place exceeded our expectations on so many levels..

Artistic and amazing location

This property delights at every turn. In the kitchen, you will lack for nothing whether you want to eat out every night or cook some meals yourself. The views from the five floor to ceiling windows are urban - only one has a view onto the mountains - but fantastic natural light. Be warned that this is a five-floor walkup! If you can manage that then I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

The perfect apartment in Madrid

This apartment is amazing. My husband and I stayed for a month and a half and absolutely loved it. It is located in a wonderful neighborhood close to the Royal Palace and walking distance to Plaza Mayor, Madrid Río, other attractions and lots of restaurants. The apartment is beautiful, impeccable, brand new and equipped with everything one may need. It has lots of natural light and it's super quiet. The hosts, Elena and Pachi, are the best hosts ever. We loved their attention to details, their suggestions to enjoy Madrid, and their promptness on responding to our enquires. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Madrid.

Wonderful time

We loved our stay in Madrid. The apartment is beautiful filled with Pachi’s amazing artwork. Pachi and Elena left us with a wonderful assortment of food and drink Apartment is in a wonderful neighborhood within walking distance of many restaurants and sights. The apartment has loads of charm and is spotless. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for making our stay perfect!

One could not stay in a more PERFECT location in Madrid or stay in a more creative space!

We had the best time in Madrid made even more perfect by staying at Pachi and Elena's contemporary and artistic flat. They not only met us and carried our bags up the stairs, but they provided snacks and the refrigerator was stocked with beverages. Just a note of caution to those who are not physically able to climb the stairs to the 4th floor, there is no lift. From our perspective Madrid is a walking city and the flat's location could not have been better for easy access to local restaurants & Madrid's main attractions. The property is incredibly comfortable and has anything you need.

The best experience I've ever had. From the moment you make the reservation until the moment you leave. Pachi was attentive to every need we had. The apartment is in an excellent location just minutes from the Palace. Bars, restaurants, and lots of entertainment just steps away. Once again I have to point out the special attention Pachi gave us. I can not wait to return to Madrid and stay at Pachi's apartment. The apartment is marvelous.

Wonderful hosts! Great communication, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Elana & Pachi were so easy to work with and made our welcome special. Un piso excepcional y propietarios super atentos!

Es la segunda vez que estamos en este piso y seguiremos repitiendo. Para mí es de 10. Pachi y Elena han estado en todo momento pendientes de que estuviéramos bien y de ayudarnos en todo. Muchísimas gracias otra vez!!. El piso es precioso, está limpio y nuevo y no le falta de nada: está equipado al detalle, incluso para una estancia como la nuestra un poco más larga de lo normal. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

Elena and Pachi are very kind and helpful..the apartment is perfect very beautiful.

Our vacation was so stressful at first we had a two day delay flight from the Philippines and then when we got to Madrid our luggage was lost..elena and pachi help us follow up on our luggage and was very helpful to us..the apartment was perfect very beautiful and lots of pachi’s amazing artwork..it’s location is great very close to plaza de mayor..What made our vacation even better is that elena and pachi was so kind and accommodating to us..they even showed us the nearest grocery.Although the ref is filled with food drinks wine beer and juices. Elena is very responsive to all my inquiries from the time we started our booking up to the last day of our stay.i will text her in minutes she will reply. Even During Xmas eve around 11pm when our luggage was to be picked up at the airport she still manage to send a taxi to the apartment. It’s wonderful experience to meet someone like elena and pachi for taking good care of their guest. They even provide us a well trusted taxi driver Alvaro when we decided to visit Toledo. thanks so much for making our stay memorable and we enjoyed Madrid so much..we absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a wonderful vacation in Spain. Wonderful stay

Elena was a terrific host from the moment of our first inquiry. She always got back to us promptly And very welcoming ! The apartment is as cool as shown in the photos. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable! It was quiet to sleep and in a terrific area with great access to Madrid. Elena met us and helped us bring our suitcases up the stairs. She was available for all of our questions during our stay. It was a great experience and stay! We hope to return! Thanks Elena and Pachi!

Wonderful apartment with a touch of art and home

My wife and I stayed here for 4 wonderful nights. Elena met us for an early check-in after overnight flight from New York. The apartment is in a lively area near the Palacio Real. Great restaurants, bars museums and attractions in all directions. The apartment was well equipped and felt like living in an art museum with the wall art and small pieces throughout the place. Elena provided a nice supply of goodies such as candies, juices and wine. Great touch. The four flights of stairs are a bit challenging, but great to work off the many meals we ate. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place. It is one of the most charming we have rented in our travels around the world, and we felt much cared for by our hosts.

Wonderful apartment, great location!

My family and I (4 persons) did a trip to Spain, where we went to Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid. In Madrid we decided to stay in an apartment rather than a Hotel as we have always done. Hospitality A + We have the luxury to choose Pachi’s apartment, he welcomed us and immediately made us feel as if it were our home, he oriented us as how to maximize our time in Madrid, as well as give us valuable recommendations of places frequented by locals. At any time of our stay that we need help, he always was available to all of our questions and made us feel secure in a place that we really don’t know. Comfort A + The apartment has everything we may need for a pleasant stay, in addition to the formidable decoration, the apartment has air conditioning, washing machine, microwave, stove, TV, Wi-FI, etc.. It is cozy, with comfortable beds which for me is very important, because after travel and walk long hours, is awesome to get a bed where you can really rest. Location A + I only said to the taxis drivers, "take us to the Viaduct", which is an area that everyone knows, then you go down a slope for a minute and we were already in the apartment. It also have a train station near the apartment. Highly recommended!! and if we go back to Madrid, we definitely will stay in Pachi and Elena’s apartment.

Beautiful apartment, centrally located, wonderful hosts

My husband and I were a bit nervous about traveling with our 11-month old son, Harry, to Europe from the US, and Pachi and Elena made our trip so smooth. When we arrived in Madrid, Pachi quickly responded to our texts and met us promptly at the apartment. When we walked into the apartment, there was a sign waiting for us welcoming our family to Madrid. To make our stay easy and comfortable, Elena and Pachi thoughtfully provided a cozy crib, a baby bathtub, and toys for Harry. This was all in addition to a beautiful apartment and a thoughtfully stocked fridge. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Fenomenal!

I stayed the second time in the apartment and this says everything. Soon I will book it again. My one year old son was celebrating his first birthday in the apartment. Elena and Pachi prepared a beautiful Birthday-decoration for my son and her daughter painted a wonderful picture for him. Thank you to the hole Family!!!!!!!

I come back in may

I can only confirm what all the other are writing. It is a grate place! There are many details which you never find in other places and this flat is equipped with everything. The kitchen-facility is as someone lives permanent in this place and cooking every day . AMAZING PLACE! I already booked the apartment a second time in May. Elena and Pachi enable you an unbelievable time in Madrid. Thank you for everything!

Genial y muy recomendado!

Estuvimos alojados del 17 al 19 de febrero y lo recomiendo encarecidamente. No le falta detalle al apartamento, es un lujo. Pero sobretodo un 10 para Elena y Pachi que fueron atentos, detallistas, y muy majos. Nos trataron super bien, tanto por email y WhatsApp como en persona cuando llegamos. El apartamento además está muy bien situado, en la latina, donde hay ambiente por todos sitios. Eso sí, es llegar al apartamento y hay una tranquilidad de un pueblo. Mis hijos estuvieron encantados. Y nosotros también. Repetiremos seguro!

Un lugar inmejorable

Bajo el viaducto de Segovia, cuya vista nada más salir del portal ofrece una de las mejores imágenes de Madrid; a dos pasos del Palacio Real y del Corral de la Morería, para quien ame el flamenco, el apartamento está situado en el Barrio de la Latina: barrio pintoresco y tranquilo con cantidad de sitios para comer bien o tomar algo. Por si esto fuera poco, además de que es un piso precioso y acogedor, Elena y Pachi son unos propietarios maravillosos que te hacen sentir como en casa. Mis hijas disfrutaron muchísimo. Estamos deseando volver!
