Let me begin by saying how our entire experience was a disaster, from booking to the day of check out. I’d like to say that I’m a very understanding traveller, I understand that hotels also have other duties hence why I’m very accomodating. But sometimes you also have to recognize when properties simply do not CARE, and just want money. I also understand that this is a 3 star property, similar to hotels like holiday inn.
Booking: I booked through Expedia. It was my partner and I’s first time travelling and the photos looked bright and clean, hence why we decided to book. We initially booked for one day only, but due to other hotel plans being cancelled, we booked another day. In total, we have two separate bookings.
I made a request to join the two separate bookings so we could stay in the same room, and I understand if such requests cannot be granted, but my issue here is the lack of COMMUNICATION. For almost TWO WEEKS of trying to reach them, there was absolutely NO response on their end. I messaged them on Expedia, I called their phone number, tried calling maintencance, left multiple voicemails, and even reached out to expedia customer service where they also tried calling different numbers. For almost two weeks they did not respond, I had these reservations for months. I began to worry about the entire reservation because it is a self check in and no one can be reached! I thought this in itself was a red flag and was absolutely ridiculous. After the n
