I am not sure if I would consider staying here again...the hotel looks quite a bit different both from outside as well as inside than what's shown in the listing pics.
Honestly, the location is the only best thing for this hotel as it is walkable to Sofia Hagia, Blue Mosque and the Metro train station ..besides that this hotel is nothing worthy of raving about. This hotel shows it's age in every aspect right from the time you enter, sheets, towels etc. They did not have the towels ready at the check-in time as apparently they were in laundry which I have never run into this situation before.
The breakfast was included but it was not served on time and we had to remind the staff few times and apparently the chef was late and the breakfast was not available at the time they said it would be ready. We also had a bad experience with the taxi service for the airport as the taxi they arranged did not arrive on time...ours came like 20 mins late and by the time we loaded and left the hotel it was 30 mins late to the airport; we were super stressed about missing our flight. Similar thing happened for other guests the previous day while we were waiting for breakfast in the lobby they appeared to be stressed about missing their flight too.
The staff are friendly and courteous. However, they all smoke right outside the hotel and the smoke was coming up right into our room even though the windows are closed as they are not air tight and it triggered my allergies.
