The bar and restaurant were super convenient and we enjoyed watching sports on the numerous tv’s in the area especially during a major thunderstorm one evening! We didn’t have to venture out for a meal, it was right there in the hotel.»

«This hotel is in the heart of downtown KC, 1 block walk from a street car stop and a couple blocks from Union station. This was a perfect stay for us, since we took Amtrak to Union station. Staff was polite and helpful, answering questions about streetcar stops. The breakfast in the morning was on the higher quality, as far as hotel breakfasts go, and had lots of variety.»

«The hotel was nice. The checkin staff didn’t tell us what was available, like pool or gym. They kind of helped with downtown things but not much. We had no housekeeping at all in the 3 days we were there. They were supposed to come on day two but we were skipped. Also, it would be nice to have more soap and personal care items in the room. Breakfast was good except the coffee. The only choice was bold coffee. A medium or breakfast blend would’ve been a nice option. I had to buy a five dollar ...

«The hotel room itself was spacious, quiet and well appointed. The staff, unfortunately, were a complete disappointment. The young women at the front desk were extremely unprofessional, unpolished and unfriendly. Also, the maid service was inconsistent. On 2 of the 4 days of our stay, the room was not cleaned or beds made and we had to request clean towels when we returned to our room at the end of the day. «My room 110 was in front of the gym and it was noisy. It was noise coming from the outside of the window too. Also, the air conditioner was extremely loud and disrupted my sleep when it came on. Lastly, I asked for a cup of coffee at 9:02 a.m., and was told by a staff member that she couldn’t brew anymore coffee. Coffee is typically standard in the morning at a hotel.»

«The hotel has a good location, being close to the city center made a lot within walking distance in an otherways not so walkable city. The gym was small, but had the necessary equipment for a good workout; treadmills, mats, bench, bands and manuals(weights). The breakfast was good and varied from day to day.
