Room housekeeping lacked consistency. On some days the pillows were properly arranged on the beds, while on other days they were not. We also booked the room for three guests, but the glasses and mugs were prepared for only two.
The breakfast system was a bit confusing. It might be clearer if guests could order their coffee themselves at the entrance.
On some days, we were able to have breakfast in a quieter area, but on other days this was not available due to some policy(?).
Overall I enjoyed staying at Sofitel, however I am a bit confused that what the Sofitel brand is. Because there were not consistent behavior of the staff from porter, house keeping to the restaurant staff. Should the hotel can show the brand concept more strongly it would be more impressive for guests.
Greeting guests with “bonjour” alone does not seem sufficient to express the hotel’s overall concept.
