Ladera del Mar is a developing community on the edge of Playas del Coco.  The location gives you quick access to Playas del Coco and Playa Hermosa and is just a 25-minute drive from Guanacaste Airport (LIR), near Liberia.  Playas del Coco offers several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops to count.  Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk. Many scuba diving, sport fishing, and sightseeing tours depart from Coco. You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Due to the remote location of the home, we highly recommend that guests have a rental car for their stay.
- If planning to use private transfers - The steep grade of the driveway makes it difficult for larger transfer vans to access the home so multiple vans may be required, depending on your group size.
- If planning to use taxis - We do not have Uber or Lyft here and acquiring a taxi can sometimes be difficult. We can share local taxi numbers and we recommend that guests book taxi trips in advance. If you have a larger group, you must book taxis in advance as most taxis here are 4-door sedans and multiple taxis would be needed to transport a larger group.
