We had to stay 1 night recently when our flights home were canceled and this was the closest hotel that had available rooms. Based on the high price, we assumed it would be a lovely experience but unfortunately it was terrible. The hotel has almost an abandoned feel to it and everything feels quite date, old, and not fully taken care of. The room wasn't very clean, there were many bugs inside the room. The shower handle didn't work (either scalding hot or cold water, no in between), the phone didn't work, the toilet barely worked, the wifi was extremely slow and we had zero cell reception. The door lock was the kind that you have on an interior bathroom door (push button), so we also didn't feel safe throughout the night. The front desk staff were friendly but not helpful. We had to send WhatsApp messages to someone named Daniela for anything that we needed. We booked a car through Daniela back to the airport the next morning (including pre-paying), but he never showed up. We ended up having to order an Uber. I have asked for a refund multiple times but Daniela hasn't responded. When we asked the front desk for help they had no information and couldn't help.
Would definitely recommend not staying here and finding something else. I wish we could get our money back.
