The Space:
Emerald Beach House is a stunning three-storey terraced property carefully curated with style and comfort in mind. Boasting outdoor space with sea views, a spacious living room, separate dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, plus three bedrooms, there is ample space for all occasions.
On the ground floor, you’ll find the living room, dining room and kitchen, along with a downstairs WC.
Upon entering Emerald Beach House, you’ll be welcomed into the beautiful traditional hallway and living room on the left-hand side. Benefiting from a large bay window, this bright and airy space is perfect for relaxing. Fire up the Aga log burner in the winter months and cosy up on the sofas watching your favourite shows on the flat screen Smart TV.
Traditional in style, the kitchen includes a table and benches to offer more dining options. It boasts many amenities, including a Rangemaster cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher and kitchen aid. Emerald Beach House is fully equipped for self-catering stays.
Enjoy meals with your loved ones in the dining room which consists of a wooden dining table and comfortable leather chairs and another Aga log burner.
Take the traditional open stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find two bedrooms, a bathroom and separate WC. The bathroom includes a beautiful copper bath and walk-in shower. The first bedroom features a king-size bed and plenty of storage space, while the second bedroom boasts a double bed. Both bedrooms have a tranquil feel and premium bed linens to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. Both bedrooms also include smart flat screen TVs.
On the second floor, you’ll find the final bedroom oozing luxury with a freestanding copper bathtub. Wooden beams and sloped ceilings give offer a traditional vibe, making this space really special. The bedroom includes a comfortable king-size bed and freestanding copper bathtub. Leading off the bedroom is a separate walk-in shower WC and sink.
Outside at the front of the property, there is outdoor space which boasts a bench and views down towards the North Sea. A real treat in Saltburn, there is also a small private outdoor space at the rear of the property in the form of an enclosed courtyard.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Emerald Beach House are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check in.
Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis.
A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Emerald Beach House per reservation.
One nights' worth of logs are provided at Emerald Beach House.
The Neighborhood:
Emerald Beach House is located in the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast.
Located in the heart of the town, the property is only a short walk from the beach and lower promenade. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.
Emerald Beach House is close to all local amenities including independent shops, bars, restaurants and bistros.
Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and the lovely Saltburn is featured. If you fancy a 17.5-mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are beautiful!
Getting Around:
Emerald Beach House is within walking distance of all that Saltburn has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.
Saltburn Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Redcar, Middlesbrough, Darlington, York, Leeds and Manchester.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Saltburn. Hop on the X4 route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay and the town of Whitby. The Moorsbus route has drop offs at Newton Under Roseberry, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Helmsley.
