The unit itself is spacious with plenty of room to spread out, the views are gorgeous (nothing beats reading out on the balcony while the sun comes up), two serene and refreshing pools, and the location is unbeatable. «We absolutely loved staying at Villas DeRosa!! The owners were so easy going and helpful. They answered questions immediately. Our luggage got lost and Tony called the local airline for us to assist (as we dont speak Spanish). We had the bottom floor that walked out to the beach, which we loved. Plus it kept the unit cool. «Akumal is a special town that I have visited for over 25 years. This was my first time staying at LaSerina. Such a lovely location. The courtyard gardens are full of beautiful tropical plants, and is beautifully maintained. There is a large lovely pool in the center of this courtyard. The condo was decorated in traditional Mexican decor with lots of nice personal touches. The staff were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.»

«There was a big miscommunication with how to gain entry into the condo. It was almost an hour before I gained access. I would look into getting a new shower head and have someone check behind the cleaners. I was washing my dishes and noticed the counter had not been cleaned from when someone spilled coffee so I cleaned that up my self. Everything was ok once I got a direct number to host. »

«Great getaway...beautiful grounds. Unfortunately there was a lot of sea moss at the beach...so a bit difficult to navigate through the waters; however, there was another beach within 5 minutes walking distance. The staff was great!!! I give it a 10/10. One thing I would recommend is renting a car as transportation was expensive.»
