«Strong smell in room like mold. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. So outdated and barely any lights in the room. The AC unit was so loud we could barely sleep, had to turn it off. TV was supposed to have options for Netflix didn't work. Mold in the bathroom. Do not stay here. We definitely overpayed for this place. Could not wait to get out of here the next morning and never coming back.»

«This place shouldn’t be an option on your site.
Barely any staff. Brown water comes out of tub faucet before it clears. Dirty drain stoppers lying out of drain across the drain. Shower head loose from wall. Poor water pressure. Patio door doesn’t lock, so a contraption to put in the door to keep it locked. The screen door falls off the track. Weeds all over parking lot. Ice machine broken.
Only one desk chair. Big empty space where a bigger chair should be.
We think we should get a refund! I’m ...

«My wife and I traveled to Galena to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. The weather was perfect for spending a few days there, and the Steamboat House was ideal, thanks to its location, aesthetics, and amenities. We both have gluten allergies, and while I forgot to mention this in our reservation, Carol, the innkeeper, was incredibly helpful in providing gluten-friendly breakfast options, which made our stay feel even more special. The house was beautifully decorated with a fall and Halloween ...

«Far beyond what we anticipated. Warmly greeted and show to our room. Top line toiletries and added touches. Yes our room was small but well appointed and we did not plan to spend much time in the room. Wine and cheese at 5:30. 3-course breakfast at 8:30 am. Amazing! Will be back!»
