«Room was fully prepaid. When check-in they discreetly gave a paper saying there will be noise from construction work without any further options. Woke up in terror with drilling sounds like professional THX cinema experience (full 7.1 surround). Could not even think or talk. The sound was exceeding hazard limits. Overall hotel was old, outdated with nasty carpets and bad lighting. Toilet didn’t flush before contacting maintenance.»

«Had an amazing stay with my daughter and she loved the heated pool!! Checking in was quick and staff was nice. Amenities were great and we loved dining in at Rope and Anchor downstairs. There was quite a checking out but they were efficient and attentive and we were able to leave without waiting the whole line. Definitely recommend , we had a great experience and will be back !»

«Overall I had an decent stay at the Sofitel Philadelphia. This hotel is a good deal when the rates are reasonable. The rooms are well comfortable and large and the beds were excellent. Where this hotel fell flat for me was the service and the overall property condition. Service was generally apathetic and inconsistent, especially when trying to add a night to my reservation. There was still garbage in the garbage can, kitchen and bathroom floors were very sticky, a sticky, dark stain on the carpet and said carpet had not been vacuumed. Cabinets in the bathroom were damaged. Looked like a dog chewed the corners. Breakfast was just about cleaned out when we got there at about 8a on a weekday.
