I really wanted to give this hotel a good rating but unfortunately a lot went awry. When their policies are sent,as well as when you check in, you are threatened with, "even if we smell a scent of smoke in your room, you will be charged $100". Not only did my room smell of marijuana but the entire hallway. I did go to the front desk to get additional washcloths and informed the front desk assistant and there was absolutely no concern or anything done about it. Our bathroom sink did not drain, the outlet by the sink did not work and the worst of it all there was no hot water for showers, lukewarm at best. When we notified the front desk the manager on duty came up to "apologize" and told us that unfortunately, sometimes these things happen. He was going to try and get a room cleaned for us to go in and take showers but we did not have time to wait. I did a sponge bath with the lukewarm to cool water and by the time I was done, which was pretty quick, I had water up pass my ankles.
The rooms are quaint, the hotel is historical but it sits facing a highway. Fortunately, we did not hear the traffic. I would not recommend.
