«Nice property and spectacular views, but poor offerings on the spot (food, wine) and unpredictable service and attention from staff. Breakfast was very good one morning, really poor the next two. Would not stay again.»

«Our stay at Whales Bay Hotel was quite wonderful. We loved every aspect of it. The appartments and the common areas are all kept spotlessly clean. The reception staff were really heplful and knowledgeable about the islands. The hot tub and the steam/sauna was a highlight of our day. There is nothing about the accomodation we did not like. We will very probably book again next year.»

«Quiet country side small hotel very close to Ponta Delgado and convenient for driving anywhere in the island. Great location! Spacious, beautifully designed, comfortable unit with fully equipped kitchen. Clean, well-lit. Has a nice shower, good internet and powerful AC. Felt like a private villa with a big saltwater pool. . Paolo, the manager, was very helpful providing information about the amenities in the unit and the surroundings. All in all could not be better. »

«Wir haben eine traumhafte Woche im Bathalha Resort verbracht. Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Da wir spät Abends angekommen sind wurde der Schlüssel im Safe hinterlegt. Das Frühstück wurde täglich in unser Haus gebracht und war sehr köstlich. Wir konnten zwischen einem Standard und einem großen Frühstück wählen.
