"Lang avstand fra frokost/resepsjon til rommet, vi hadde bestilt med havutsikt, og ville vi bo nærmere hovedinngangen, må man betle ekstra. God frokost. Kort avstand til katamaran til Great Barrier Reef og Møteplass for regnskogtur. Mange gode restauranter nærheten ohg esplanadaen er ved siden av restauranten. Cairns er en intim, flott by!"

"As soon as we got the room we noticed some bugs here and there. When we got to bed it was impossible to sleep due to a variety of small creatures crawling around in the bed and onto our bodies - nibbling of our skin and making it impossible to sleep. We took several pictures and videos of these small creatures for evidence and will forward to Hilton. We ended up sleeping less than two hours in front of a 26 hour flight back home. Not what we had expected from Hilton standards. The reception did nothing else than asking us to write a formal complaint. We stayed in another room earlier in the week - it this only had some ants in the bathroom. With the rooms with direct access to the outside (motel style) it is almost impossible to keep things out of the rooms. Gaps underneath the doors does not help. "
