Spacious semi-detached Southsea House
- DESCRIPTION
Enjoy a break in this large, desirable and comfortable house, located in a quiet conservation area in Southsea, Portsmouth.
Local tourist sites, the seafront, shopping areas, nightlife and many various eateries are within minutes walking from our central Southsea location.
An 80ft mature garden, outside dining area, modern, comfortable bedrooms and spacious living area awaits your arrival.
Our house is suitable for families and/or friends that require a peaceful break. 1 dog allowed on request.
THE SPACE
The entire house has been refurbished in 2023 to a contemporary taste. All rooms are bright, airy and have access to natural day light.
We offer 5 bedrooms ( bedroom 1 is on the ground floor)
There are 2 shower rooms ( 1 is on the ground floor )
The rear garden is south-facing and is equipped with outside dining facilities, easily accessed from the dining room and/or kitchen and side entrance.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE
The property has a drive for one vehicle including the use of an EV charging point at an extra cost.
There is permit parking on the road between 5pm/7pm of which we supply the permits free of charge.
We offer a limited amount of complimentary hand soap, shower gel, loo roll and household cleaning products ( eco friendly where possible )
We offer a limited amount of complementary, individually wrapped tea, coffee, sugar and milk. There is also salt and pepper!
There are items on request such as hairdryers, an iron and ironing board, travel cot, highchair and extra pillows and blankets.
NEIGHBOURHOOD
The property is located in a quiet residential and conservation area, within the heart of Southsea.
GETTING AROUND
The property is located in central Southsea, so that many eating and drinking venues are within a 5 to 15 minutes walk.
If you plan on walking to the beach or Southsea Common it will take around 15 minutes, alternatively, you are within 10 minutes from VOI pick-up point! Ubers can collect you directly from the property.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We live close by and are happy to assist with any issues that may occur. We are happy to communicate face to face, via text or telephone call.

Nine of us stayed for 4 nights around our child's wedding. House was exactly as described, very clean, and Lee was a fantastic host. Weather wasn't great so didn't us the garden, but that looked good to. The parking permits and drive were really useful as Southsea parking is a nightmare.Overall, great stay and would certainly book again. Highly recommended!

We know the area well so we're in a good position to make a judgement. Good location, very quiet.The house is vast, we had varying guest numbers (up to 10) but no space issues....five bedrooms, good sizes, two bathrooms, very spacious lounge/ diner and good size kitchen. Parking on the drive, no problem and loads of spaces on the road. Close to local shop etc, five minute walk. Lee, the host, lives nearby and in any case beforehand always answered queries mega quickly on the app.Would thoroughly recommend without fear or favour.

Excellent accommodation. Very clean, stylish and spacious. Lovely area and less than half an hour’s walk to the seafront. Great communication with the owner.

Comfortable house in a quiet area but with bars, shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Historic dockyard is 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes on the bus. Very clean, spacious house with comfortable beds

Welcoming home from home
We loved this gorgeous home. The decor was beautiful and everything was thoughtfully provided. A perfect house for all 10 of us (a mix of family and friends of all ages) plus we could bring our dog!

Family gathering
Wow, we had such a lovely time in Lee and Heidi's house! We visited with grandparents, 3 kids and 2 dogs, and had everything we needed in a really idyllic setting with lots of fab things to do nearby and parking on the drive was just the icing on the cake! Thanks for having us and being so quick to respond to amy queations we asked!

The house itself, with a lovely garden, is in a great location being about a half hours walk from the seafront and an easy 15 minutes from a variety of general shops, more locally 5-10 minutes from Co op and Tesco express.It is set in a very quiet and friendly neighbourhood with the owners on hand just over the road in case of any issues. The house was very clean on our arrival with unique decor complementing the property! Beds and sofas were comfortable but it does have limited china,cutlery and towels with no washing machine so would suggest bringing extra towels. The fridge is also quite small. There is so much to see and do in Southsea with an abundance of eateries to choose from that it would be a great choice for all ages.
