From my very first visit, Porto captured my heart. The beauty of the Douro River, the narrow cobblestone streets, the remarkable architecture, and the warmth of its people create a city that feels both vibrant and wonderfully peaceful.

I love wandering through its historic neighborhoods, discovering small cafés, tasting local food and wine, and simply enjoying the rhythm of everyday Portuguese life. Every time I leave Porto, I wish I could stay a little longer.

It is my pleasure to invite you to Casa Anibal, a comfortable and welcoming home where you can settle in, explore the city at your own pace, and experience Porto as more than just a visitor.

Your Home in Porto

Casa Anibal is a spacious, thoughtfully furnished apartment offering three comfortable bedrooms, each with one full-size bed, and two full bathrooms with showers.

Its central location makes it easy to explore the city on foot, from the lively arts and gallery district to charming cafés, restaurants, shops, and the beautiful Douro River.

Our wonderful local managers, Victor and Thaina, are a friendly Brazilian couple who speak Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

They live nearby and will gladly assist with your arrival, answer questions, share local recommendations, and help resolve any issues during your stay.

Please contact them approximately one week before arrival to arrange your check-in and key collection.

WhatsApp is the easiest way to reach them.

Victor or Thaina will meet you at the apartment between 3:00 and 7:00 PM, provide the keys, and explain anything you need to know.

When departing, simply leave the keys on the kitchen counter.

Getting Around Porto

The easiest way to reach Casa Anibal from the airport is by Uber or taxi. I personally recommend Uber, which is generally convenient and competitively priced.

Victor may also be available to arrange an airport pickup for a fee. Please inquire with him directly.

Once you have settled in, I highly recommend exploring Porto on foot. Walking through its charming streets is one of the best ways to discover the city's authentic character.

Buses, trams, taxis, and Uber are also available for longer distances.

Enjoying the Apartment

Air conditioning

The apartment has central air conditioning operated by remote control. Please turn it off whenever you leave for the day.

Kitchen

You are welcome to enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and prepare your favorite meals. An espresso machine is available for your morning coffee.

Laundry

A washing machine is located in the closet near the entrance. It is an energy-efficient machine, so washing cycles may take longer than expected. A drying rack is provided in the same closet.

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment. The network information and password are displayed on the label underneath the router.

Television

The 42-inch flat-screen television is operated using the remote located near the router, on the wall facing the sofa.

A Few Simple House Rules

We ask guests to treat Casa Anibal with the same care and respect they would offer their own home.

Please turn off lights, air conditioning, and television when leaving.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the apartment or building.

Never leave lit candles or any open flame unattended.

Please close the building's entrance door securely whenever entering or leaving.

Kindly wash your dishes before checking out.

Please place household trash in the designated bins across the street.

We appreciate your help recycling paper, glass, and plastic in the appropriate containers.

Before departure, check that you have all your personal belongings. Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for items left behind.

Porto City Tourist Tax

The City of Porto currently charges a municipal tourist tax of €3 per eligible guest, per night, for a maximum of seven nights.

Children aged 12 and under are exempt, and additional exemptions may apply.

If this tax has not already been collected through your booking platform, Victor or Thaina will assist with its collection upon arrival.
