I was in town for the Mesa Marathon and stayed at this hotel because of the location, even though it was much higher than hotels just a mile or two away. The staff were wonderful. Very attentive to guests. The hotel itself is older and in need of a face list. It has sliding doors to the bathrooms, which leave gaps and not the best sense of privacy when traveling with friends. In our bathroom tiles were missing or loose. Our room had a pullout sofa but no linens, two bottles of conditioner but no shampoo, but plenty of complimentary bottles of water. Overall not horrible, but if you don't need that location, there are other places to stay that are more economical.
