«This is a fantastic property to stay for a visit to DC. The location is on a beautiful residential street and is very walkable to restaurants and shops. We felt very safe in the area, and transportation to the tourist spots was easy from here. The home is very comfortable and stylish, great beds and bathrooms. We appreciated the extra touches such as Nespresso and cupcakes from the owners’ bakery. Owners are very responsive and helpful. Thanks again for a great stay!»

«Tom's Place is fantastic. It has everything. You can walk to the main attractions or there is a metro station minutes away. The apartment is a basement but we sat out at the front every evening for an hour or so every evening. There is a shared garden at the rear. Use Uber to go distance. There are several grocery mini markets and restaurants within easy walking distance. Mariscos restaurant is 100 yards away and is brilliant.»

«Parking was the only issue. The property owner helped with us getting a parking permit. However, the parking was first come first served. One night I had to park two blocks away and walk to the apartment. Everything else about the stay was great. Good communication with owner about anything we needed!»

«The apartment was very well appointed and obviously quite recently refurbished. It was clean and had everything I needed for my 5 day stay.I would suggest adding a couple of lamps so you have low light options in the evening. It is about 10 minute flat walk to Noma metro station. It took me 30 minutes to walk all the way to Capitol Hill so not bad at all in terms of location. Sadly, the immediate area is a low point.
