The apartment itself is very nice: excellent location, attractive interior, and a well-equipped kitchen that makes self-catering easy. Overall, the flat was in good condition. The kitchen, however, was not cleaned to the same standard as the rest of the apartment: there were crumbs inside the cupboards and visible fingerprints on the matte kitchen surfaces. Also, many cupboards were locked, which reduced the usable storage space.The main reason for my critical review is what happened after the stay. One day after check-out, we were accused of having taken a set of towels and were charged an additional fee of 35. We dispute this completely.There was no inventory list in the apartment, no documented check-in record showing how many towel sets were supposedly provided, and no check-out inspection in our presence. We were instructed to leave the key inside the apartment and simply pull the door closed when leaving. The allegation was only raised the following day.What I found especially concerning was how this was handled by the platform. Instead of requiring the host to provide clear proof that more towels had been in the apartment at the start of the stay, we were asked to prove the opposite — specifically, to provide timestamped photos showing that only three towel sets were present.
