There was no heating or hot water for the first 24 hours of my stay and I had to use the kitchen oven to help heat the apartment. As there was no hot water I had to take a cold shower in the morning. The wifi only worked occasionally, despite me calling every evening to ask them to repair it, as I needed it for work. The host did not respond to ANY of the 5 messages I sent them using the VRBO app during my 3 night stay. I had to ring the property help line (calling them 5 times in 3 days), who said they would send someone over to look at the heating and wifi, and I never received any feedback on status or any calls at all to check how things were going, or whether or not what they said would be fixed actually was. The host was COMPLETELY unresponsive. On one occasion, I left the phone ringing for 5 minutes waiting for someone to reply, only to be cut off because it rang so long with no one answering. Furthermore, the property was visibly poorly maintained: kitchen cabinet door broken and leaning up against a wall without being replaced, kitchen kettle switch not functioning properly, shower head holder not attached to the wall and stuck to the shower head, rotating glass dish in microwave missing. This in unfortunately the worst VRBO I have ever stayed at and I will be filing a formal complaint and requesting a refund for my disappointing stay!
