Sagamore Hill is a great place to visit for those nature lovers and history buffs. The tour of the Roosevelt house was interesting as well as a full museum on Theodore Roosevelt. This branch of the natural park service also included a nature trail that takes you to the pretty beach in the picture. Along the trail we were able to spot beautiful wild flowers many chipmunks, squirrels, deer, egrets, butterflies, crawfish, salamanders, etc.... Not one of the most majestic national parks I've been to but interesting, very pretty and a great mix of both history and nature! We spent 3.5 hours there including taking the house tour, thoroughly reading through everything in the museum and taking a stroll to the beach. It's near the cute historic town oyster bay which is a great town to stroll through and get lunch!

Very satisfied with hotel itself. We came across no issues with parking on sight, but space could be limited due to active laundromat next door. Stayed one night and then drove to JFK and parked in LT lot.
