«Our room was clean and spacious. Finding it was a challenge for the local cab driver. The breakfast was just breads but I enjoyed the mugwort rolls! I’d recommend that they add a washer/dryer to some rooms. Also, the sleeping clothes were a little worn. Mine was missing an important button. The staff were friendly but it could be hard to communicate with them over the phone.»

«I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. A note for Americans and Europeans--this is a Japanese business-style hotel. It is small and functional and perfect as such. It is not a big resort hotel. It is not a spacious room for you to spread out in. It is functional and perfect for those who are there to enjoy the place and not the hotel itself. The hotel is wonderful and the staff are extremely nice. They are helpful with recommendations and holding luggage and very accommodating. The beds are a ...

«Staff amazing, hotel clean. Location pretty good one stop from Kyoto or a 20 min walk. Hotel was clean and felt very modern. Little downsides were loved the coffee stations but if your rooms near it you will hear the grinder and the chatting. Apart from that felt like a good local hotel.»

«It’s a good hotel that had a good bang for buck in Kyoto. That being said, the property was not very well maintained (specially the paint was peeling a bit off and the AC was louder than others I’ve seen at other hotels) that being said, the property is being renewed at the moment and I expect it to improve once the renovations are complete.»

«Unforgettable. Just try it.»

«Love this place, very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is also very good since its close to kyoto station which was a 15 minute walk. Thank you! I highly recommend this place»

«Ok room, hotel close to Station, noisy, railway noise and traffic »
