«Lovely clean property with lots of space and rooms. Gardens beautiful and accessible with seating. Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. Kitchen was really well stocked with cutlery And plates but there was no basics like salt pepper oil etc. Overall lovely family home. plat3s»

«Absolutely terrible experience couldn’t even get in to the property so had to travel all the way back to Manchester , spoke to a neighbour across the road and he took my number to contact me if the host comes along , I emailed him/her to call me but they didn’t back to to me »

«The railway carriage was a lovely place for my dog and I to call home while we visited friends in Newcastle. Great walks on the doorstep and Newcastle is deceptively easy to get to.We visited the Column to Liberty at Gibside today that we could see from our window. Very well equipped for such a cosy space and the treats were much appreciated. Thank you »

«Unfortunately the host never provided any joining instruction nor did they respond to mine or Vrbo management's emails or messages through the app in the days leading up to stay, so our group had to find alternative accommodation whilst on the train to Newcastle.»

«We booked the property to celebrate my father in laws 80th birthday so there were lots of people ranging from 2 months old to 102 years old! The house itself is fab and the accommodation on offer was great. Location is excellent being near Bolam Lake with some good walks. We had a few teething problems in terms of heating and some supplies but all in all had a good stay»

«We didn’t actually stay in the property as my fiancé had an accident and we had to rebook for 24/5/25. The owner was kind enough to let us change the dates. Perfect location near our family/friends and for walks into town. Right around the corner from the lovely Tudor Rose pub. Very clean, comfortable, nice linens and towels provided. «We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring.
