I truly wanted to like this hotel. The property itself is clean, and I will say the rooms — although a bit small — were nicely designed and well-kept. The aesthetic is pleasant, and overall cleanliness was appreciated.
However, service is just as important as appearance, and unfortunately that’s where my experience fell short.
One of the first things I noticed was the lack of basic guest accommodations. There was no refreshment area, no tea station, and no communal microwave — and there wasn’t even a microwave in the rooms. That’s a pretty standard amenity in many hotels, especially for guests who may have leftovers or simple food items.
After discovering there was no microwave in my room, I went downstairs and politely asked if there was a communal microwave available. The office manager, Nibras, asked me, “What did you have?” — which felt unnecessary. I told him I had pizza. He then proceeded to tell me, in a sarcastic tone, a story about how one time his pizza got cold and he had to “imagine it was hot” and eat it anyway. He followed that by saying, “No, we don’t have a microwave.”
The interaction was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. As a paying guest, I wasn’t looking for commentary, just a simple yes or no. Hospitality requires basic courtesy, and that interaction lacked it entirely.
Due to this treatment and the overall feeling of not being valued as a guest, I chose to check out a night early.
