«I had a wonderful time! This is a hidden oasis in a loud rambunctious city. For an introvert like me it was a perfect spot to recharge away from the exuberance of the city. Read the description carefully! The only two things I will add for future guests is to bring your own water. I do not recommend drinking New Orleans water. I was able to get big gallon jugs at Rouses Market for around $2. Second, be aware that this is an old house with old pipes, so please be patient with the shower. I think ...

«Positives:
Staff were nice, accommodating, and friendly. They are also very responsive via Expedia. Location is walking distance to the WW2 Museum and the Convention Centre. There is a restaurant next to the inn that's open till late at night. I never spent a penny attending the conference in the convention centre as it was walking distance. «We had a great 5-night stay at Southern's Beauty1! The property was very clean, quiet and convenient. Check-in and out was a breeze. The gated private parking was definitely an added benefit! The location was ideal for our event (Bar Exam) at the Ponchartrain Center. Sam was a wonderful host, and we would definitely stay here again!!!»

«The property is in a truly old home, but they have done a great job to update it and make it comfortable. It has the feel of a hostel, but definitely higher quality than your average hostel. It's a great option for a place to lay your head that is clean and convenient. The porch is amazing is well. Everything works, showers were warm, and everything was clean. »

«Everything was really beautiful
There is no staff at check in so when I couldn’t find the message containing the code to get in I had to call and had to leave a voicemail. Thankfully I did finally find it because I never did get a call back. Otherwise a beautiful property close to the square and abita cafe which was amazing »
