** DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY **
Oh dear. Well. I am not that picky about hotels, honestly, but you guys, this place is not it. Don't even bother. The people are nice and they are trying, but their hotel is falling apart.
I could deal with the cracked floors and stained walls, after all, you are not buying the place, but - after I had checked in and unpacked, I realised the door keys did not work, in fact, the whole key section was broken, so I needed to switch rooms.
The new room's key cards worked, but, sigh, where to begin. First, the room had a window without a curtain or anything that was unnerving and being a woman I was not ok with this. The front desk provided me with paper and tape so I could tape up the window, but come on. Splurge a little and put some curtains up so taping paper to the glass is not necessary.
Now let's get to the shower. I literally had to let the water run 10 minutes or more to get any hot water and even then it barely trickled out, no water pressure at all. Such a waste of water, especially in this city. I did not get a proper shower once, but I honestly did not feel like switching rooms again.
It was cold in LA the week I was there and I used the heat in the room at night. The knob was loose and fell off in my hand a few times. The whole unit needed to be replaced, but again, I didn't feel like changing rooms. It did get the room warm though.
So that's it. If you stay here it's honestly at your own peril. I would not go back, sorry.
