Booked balcony room. Room was actually really spacious, and bright. Was given room 202. DO NOT take this room if you are assigned at check-in. By far the noisiest room I have ever stayed in. It’s literally 20 feet across from the train station. Every 15 minutes, you can hear not just the train, but the announcement of arrival/departure. All.night.long. Room is so close, you can feel the vibrations. Then at 6am, garbage truck picks up right outside.
Asked for a different room, at first was told there were none available. We left and came back. Was told they could give us another room but without a balcony on the other side and on 5th floor. It was slightly smaller. We took it. Had to repack and move, so a bit inconvenient but worth it in the end as the noise was much less.
Overall, a decent quaint hotel. Just save yourself the aggravation. Don’t book balcony. Not much of a view around the area, the noise isn’t worth it, especially in the lower floors.
