First of all, I want to say I should have read the small print better, especially after seeing the low price I should’ve known there was a catch to it. When I first tried to check in young lady at the front desk, explained to me that their hotel there were no private bathrooms. All of their bathrooms are shared.
She then stated that if I was not comfortable with that, I would be issued a full refund & that all I had to do was contact Expedia. Before I left, I asked her if I could use the restroom just because I really had to go. She said no that all of their bathrooms were locked & she was unwilling to unlock them & her best suggestion was that I could walk to the gas station on the corner & asked to use their restrooms that should’ve been my first clue that the CUSTOMER SERVICE here was horrendous!!
I did exactly what she said. I made multiple attempts to Expedia the wait time was saying over 15 minutes after the first time of waiting 15 minutes after 20 minutes once the agent picked up the line we were disconnected. I called back & to save on time I did the virtual chat with their CS as soon as I said that I wanted to be issued a full refund it said that no cancellations were allowed and that if I canceled the reservation, I would not receive any money back this let me know that the young lady at the front desk lied & was extremely disingenuous! Her name is Jay, she claimed to be the manager also yelled at me, when I finally got her to pick up, she hung up the phone on me
