Some good , some bad....
A great price compare to Central London but you are 45 minutes from Oxford street. Tried to send Hotel mail several times regarding a special occation, but never got a answer. Check in took 20 minutes ( We had 5 rooms but still ) Breakfast was bad, stail bread, small selection and 17.50 pounds They charged me 75 punds pr room ( just in case you charge something ) But I am still waiting to get them back. The Bar have Good drinks and the tall guy are excellent. We had food there one night, waited 1 hour and when it came it was cold, scandal

FIT to fly
Etter en lang jobbreise var det godt å kunne sjekke inn på dette hotellet. Det var utrolig hyggelig personale som sjekket meg inn, hotellet ligger tett på flyplassen som man kan se over til fra rommet.

God plass, gode senger, utenfor sentrum
3 venninner på Londontur. Vi hadde to rom. Rommene var kjempebra! God plass til både oss og bagasje, sengene helt fantastiske. Eneste minuset er at det er litt langt unna sentrum. Tok oss 45 minutter med undergrunn, og et bytte. Var akkurat for langt til å dra tilbake med det vi hadde shoppet før vi skulle fortsette med aktiviteter så vi endte med å bære rundt på alt hele dagen. Eller er undergrunnsstoppet nesten vegg i vegg med hotellet, og vi er strålende fornøyd med hotellet i seg selv.

Despite trying to alter our booking to one night instead of two due to the rail strike the hotel refused to refund that one nights prepaid amount. We gave more than 3 days notice (as soon as we knew there was a train strike) and still stayed for the one night but sdrdpite expedias best efforts the hotel refused to allow the change or offer any type of refund or alternative option. In addition the restaurant was not open as promised at 5 pm and equally room service was not available at that time. This resulted in our having no food after a terrible train journey of over 4 hours and being late for our pre booked show. All in all a very poor attitude at this hotel.

Great hotel! Nice pool, fabulous breakfast. Only problem was the work going on at the Excell looked unsightly, but no noise during our stay. I expect it will be completed in the next few months. Really good spot if visiting the Excell or O2.

For Excel it's the closest option but prices vary considerably. Communal areas are nice and the restaurant was a nice place for lunch. Rooms good, but feel somewhat dated and impersonal. Facilities in room are not particularly well thought out. Breakfast was mediocre.. good selection but the food quality was poor and whoever labeled items clearly couldn't care as jam and juices were incorrect labelled which was laughable... since when did orange and apple juice get so easily mixed up? The scrambled egg was by far the worst I have ever experienced. Check out was easy although very impersonal.

The Aloft is a really nice hotel to stay at if you’re in the docklands area. There is ALOT of building work going on so it can look pretty chaotic. The building work also means that you’ll have zero views but for us, that wasn’t an issue. The staff are all really helpful, the rooms and areas in the hotel are spotless. On the whole, I would highly recommend the hotel.

Expensive, for the poor amenities & house keeping and bad customer service. Water bottle kept but empty. Empty soap container in the shower. Not refilled even after reporting multiple times/ days at front desk. No action, except sorries. If we say something, they reply sorry, we are new to hotel etc etc.

Fantastic stay
Fantastic hotel to stay in! Small, if slightly chilly pool, sauna and steam room were a bonus. Breakfast was brilliant - so much choice, from mackerel to hash browns, pastries and mushrooms! Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Amazing stay!
Great stay!!! Me and my son had an amazing time. Only thing I’d suggest, is trying to get the pool a little warmer. It was very cold.

Great Hotel
Great hotel. If you have any business at the ExCel center I would recommend that you stay here. This was a 100 feet walk to the entrance. Fantastic place and awesome staff

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, both TVs in our room kept freezing, making it difficult for us to enjoy our stay. Additionally, despite adjusting the heating temperature, it seemed ineffective.Moreover, we were disappointed to find that the steam room was not operational throughout our stay. Furthermore, our room lacked basic sanitary products that are typically provided in hotels of your caliber. We did not receive dental care items, water bottles, or body cream, which are essential amenities for a comfortable stay. I appreciate your prompt attention to these issues, and I hope we can find a resolution to ensure a more satisfactory experience for future stays.
