Extremely disappointing first stay.
We arranged a 2:30pm check-in, but the accommodation was not ready until 30 mins later. On arrival, we were told to return in 10–15 minutes, only to be told again that it still wasn’t ready. This appears to be a recurring issue based on other reviews.
The soft play area is outdated, dirty and unsafe, with broken equipment and a first aid box ripped off the wall. There are no safe pedestrian pathways on site; cars drive through the park from the main road, swerving around large potholes, making walking feel hazardous.
There was no entertainment at all on the Sunday, which was very disappointing for families. Entertainment schedules were also changed without warning, and staff did not manage unsafe or disruptive behaviour from unsupervised children.
The caravan itself had multiple issues: the front door did not lock properly, carpets were covered in dog hair, and the extractor fan above the oven was broken, causing smoke to fill the accommodation when cooking.
Swimming was poorly organised. Sessions did not start on time, the lifeguard spent much of the session on his phone rather than supervising, and the changing rooms were tiny, dirty, and had no locker locks. Swimming bookings also cannot be amended via the app.
Large areas of the site were flooded due to apparent drainage issues.
Overall, the stay felt poorly managed and, in several areas, unsafe. We would not return unless major improvements are made.
