«This is a great place to stay to get away from it all! Close enough to Hilo to get back into the all of you want. We also wound up driving north around the island to the west side a bit more than towards Hilo. Just sitting on the porch and looking out at the sky & ocean was so peaceful. Wish we had better weather. Got 1.5 sunrises and one night starry sky out of 7 nights but, that was only the fault of Mother Nature. Still so peaceful in the rain. «We had a fabulous time here in this beautifully restored surf cottage. Great location, David and Kim were great! Kitchen stocked with everything you may need, plenty of towels. «It was incredible. The view and uniqueness of this cottage and property are superb. My husband and I had never in our lives been to the islands until this stay. (10 day stay). We knew we wanted a quiet, non-resort property and this was perfect! Everything you could need or want is just a few minutes away by car. We even walked to a near-by restaurant which was wonderful!
