«The windows in the suit do not have screens, and I talked to the hotel. They spent about 90 minutes in and out of the room and told me they cannot find the right size of screen for the windows. Also the carpet is very old and dirty and has a moldy and rotten smell, hurt my throat, and difficult to breath. Also all the window sills are very dirty. It is not in a livable condition. «This was in a good location that was easily walkable but also had good driving access. We liked that there was 24hr security and parking included. I wish the listing was clear on what floor you're on because we had zero view from the balcony. Also, the sofa-bed mattress was about 2" thick and you could feel every spring. «We returned after honeymooning 20 years ago. We stayed in Wailea before. This time we enjoyed the close proximity of the whaler village and their restaurants along with the ability to cook with the fully stocked kitchen. Staff were friendly and helpful Wonderful place and will try to stay here again. Hopefully not another 20 years before we are back to beautiful Maui 😊»

"Nice hotel. Family friendly, lots of kids. Some bad cleaning in the room (the downlights had brown spots on them in the bathroom, went away easily, didn’t try to remove it myself in case it was sh*t). Breakfast wasn’t included. I ordered included, but to my surprise the «package» was only for 2, not all 4 of the party, had to pay extra every day. The breakfast was good, but not varied - it was missing simple things like cheese and ham and other fillings, spreads and cold cuts. A lot of fresh fruit which was nice. Nice rooms and a lot of elevators. Polite staff. All in all a good hotel with a great location on Waikiki, with some improvement-areas. Lastly, there were no lifeguards on duty in the pool, and poolwater was never during our stay «fresh» and clear. Looked grumsy. "
