En bortgjemt og avslappende Waterfront Oasis.
Fullstendig renovert og oppdatert. Helt aircondition 3 soverom, 2 Bath 1.800sf hus med praktfull utsikt over Elizabeth Harbor og Stocking Island.
2 King suiter, 1 med eget bad. Tredje. soverom vert en dronning.
Wifi.
2 terrasser for å finne litt "meg" tid.
Et stort dekk som strekker seg over forsiden av huset for å fange opp stråler i en av sjeselongene, slappe av på sofaen og se på båtene seile inn i havnen eller spis utendørs med uteserveringstabellen med plass til 4-6 personer, alt mens du ser på de stadig skiftende magiske nyansene i det turkise vannet.
Innendørs - nyt et fullt utstyrt kjøkken, 5 brenner gass komfyr, elec. stekeovn, brødrister stekeovn, kaffetrakter, etc ... lager pantry. Alt du trenger, legg bare til dagligvarer.
Spisebord som passer til 6-8 personer.
Stort solrom med utsikt over dekk og havn.
Netflix og et bibliotek med DVD i TV-rommet. Også spill og puslespill hvis du bryr deg om å ta en fridag fra å utforske.
Mer skritt til vannkanten. En fjellkyst med skritt som fører inn i vannet, er perfekt for snorkling og jakt etter sanddollar. (Snorkel utstyr inkludert.)
Xanadu ligger 10 minutter fra flyplassen.

Put cushions away in cushion boxes or indoors when not in use. Between the sun, rain and crabs, they will get ruined! Not easy to replace.NO FISHING
NO baby oil. It melts plastic drinking glasses, painted surfaces... Please keep doors or screen doors closed or geckos will get in and poo EVERYWHERE!
Rinse off snorkel gear and beach items with fresh water. The salt corrodes everything Super-fast!! :( Thx! DON'T TIE ANYTHING TO THE SWIM LADDER! THX!

Our family stay at Xanadu House exceeded all expectations with amazing panoramic views of Exuma blue and calming ocean. The decor of Xanadu made you feel as part of the ocean with seashells, starfish, corrals, and ocean colors. The sunrise each morning with captivating vibrant colors of the ocean and sun glint was breathtaking. Since the initial booking reservation and throughout our stay, Lisa was consistently available and provided recommendations of places to dine, tours, beaches to visit and much more. Xanadu house allows you to be present in the moment and appreciate the meaning of life ! Thank you Lisa and Frank

Beautiful Property; Great Location

We enjoyed our time at Xanadu House and appreciated all of the information shared ahead of our trip. This home was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed snorkeling on the shore at the house. The kitchen was well stocked and full size shower products were provided. Communication with the owner and manager was excellent. Exuma is a beautiful place and Xanadu was the perfect headquarters for our trip!

Fantastic Home in Exuma

Xanadu is a fantastic home, and we had a wonderful family vacation in paradise! Lisa is phenomenal—very responsive, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and detail-oriented. If you want to explore tidepools, head to Exuma Point at low tide. For gorgeous white sand beaches and turquoise water, head to Cocoplum or South to Pretty Molly, Big Bay, and Tropic of Cancer. It is hard to describe how picturesque the water is in the Exumas: unbelievable! Some of the best snorkeling is right behind the house, including swimming with a sea turtle. We did an ATV ride with Exuma Adventure Tours and an excursion to see the pigs, iguanas, and sharks with Exuma Water Sports. Worth it! We also rented a boat with Minn's Water Sports in Georgetown and loved it so much we rented again on a second day. Some things to remember: food selection is limited, stores close early, or are not open on specific days, so plan ahead! Lunch was easier to find restaurants open- we hit Tim's on the Bay and made reservations for Coco Plum Bistro. We heard Blu on the Water was terrific, but didn't get there ourselves. We also discovered the Ice Cream Shack in Georgetown, which is homemade and fantastic after a hot day!

A Slice of Paradise

Xanadu

We were intrigued with this home in Great Exuma from the moment we looked at the listing. The photos do not compare to the actual sight of the turquoise water and abundant flowering plants. Xanadu is perched on a hill with easy access by concrete path to the water. There is a ladder to use . This home is decorated beautifully in white, beachy blues and greens And has been renovated remarkably without losing the Caribbean cottage feel. We enjoyed the modern kitchen, the 3 spacious outdoor areas and the outdoor shower as well. The king size beds were super comfortable! We loved all of the white linens ! Lisa and Frank communicated so much information to prepare for this vacation and they were always accessible if we had any questions. We loved the location: minutes to the airport, downtown Georgetown and many beautiful beaches. We would most definitely rent Xanadu in the future! It was really hard to leave this place!

Wonderful house and hosts!

We just returned from a six-night stay at Xanadu with our teenage boys, and this house was a perfect home base for exploring the island. It was an easy drive from the airport and centrally located for exploring both ends of Exuma and everything in between. The view from this house is hard to beat- absolutely beautiful- and the home feels very private. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, which was helpful as we cooked most of our dinners at the house. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean! The owners, Lisa and Frank, could not have been more helpful. They provided tons of info about the island before the trip, and checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Also really appreciated the generous welcome gifts! Great house on Exuma!

Can't wait to go back!

Loved this home and the views are INCREDIBLE! Our family had a relaxing holiday week soaking up the sun and the laid-back Exuma vibes. Close to grocery (and liquor) stores with a well-equipped kitchen, we were able to cook at home when we didn't want to go out. Communication with Lisa (owner) was great - they provided lots of local interest info and were prompt and friendly. Highly recommend Xanadu!

Absolutely amazing!

This home was more than perfect for our stay in Exuma! The views from the house and back deck were stunning. The fact that we could walk out of the house and jump in the water to snorkel made the trip even better! The house is stocked with everything one could need for their vacay. The beds were super comfortable. And they have a great library of DVD's to watch at night :) Lisa and Frank were so accommodating and helpful through the entire process. We will definitely be back again!

Paradise Found

Maryellen M. My family and I recently traveled to Exuma for the first time in May. First off it is one of the most breathtaking islands that we have ever had the privilege of visiting! Secondly, we couldn't have picked a more beautiful property to stay at then Xanadu House! The house has the most spectacular views from every angle!!! It is well appointed with everything you could possibly need for your island stay. A wonderful surprise for us was the treats that were left in the refrigerator upon our arrival! Lisa and Frank were a wealth of information about the island with great communication!! We will be visiting Xanadu House and Exuma again of that we are sure! This house is a beautiful hidden gem!

Wonderful vacation with our Adult children

Lovely, comfortable well equipped home close to beaches and shopping . The front deck has the most spectacular view of Elizabeth Harbour and incredible sunrise . Hosts left wine and cold beer along with a fridge and pantry stocked with the basics . 10/10 !!

Little piece of Heaven

We spent Spring Break in Exuma. There were 6 of us at Xanadu ages spanning 16-84 years old. IT WAS PERFECT. The view is amazing. The pictures don't even do it justice. Our family of 4 would adventure out during the day and the grandparents were completely happy enjoying the view from the enclosed sunroom (morning) and out on the deck (afternoon). The sunroom is incredible when the breeze stops and the bugs move in. The little no see ums and sand gnats are everywhere you go on the island, but you don't notice them if there is a breeze...when the breeze stop, watch out! The sunroom offers the perfect solution...you can enjoy the view and stay away from the bugs! This house is incredible. It has more than you could ever need. Most VRBOs have a "starter" of everything (detergent, dish soap, shampoo, etc). Lisa and Frank provide EVERYTHING. Full size in most cases. I was completely blown away. So generous and completely unexpected. The kitchen has everything you need and more. Even the refrigerator had most staples (mustard, Mayo, spices, sauces). This is a nice touch in the States...but SUPER helpful on a remote island. Lisa is an incredible communicator and provided so much information in preparation for our trip and was super responsive while we were on island with questions. She went above and beyond. We will be back!

Fab Fun in the Warm Sun

Xanadu was a great place for 4 winter weary pals to relax and just enjoy everything that Great Exhuma has to offer. Next time I would probably pack food so that I could take advantage of the well equipped kitchen that Xanadu has to offer.

A Dream Beach House

We stayed at the Xanadu house 2 weeks ago. The home and the views were nothing compared to the photos; it was even more beautiful and breathtaking in person. It was 6 of us and we were all comfortable in our own spaces. The sunrises are amazing especially with the sound of the waves if you sit down by the rocks. It truly was a vacation we will never forget. Lisa and Frank had all the amenities we needed. We did bring some of our own food such as, frozen ribs, steak, ground beef, chicken, canned tomato sauce, pasta, and some snacks. I did my homework for this family trip location so I was aware at the cost of food on the island. It’s expensive because everything has to get shipped to the island by boat. Liquor, jewelry, and perfumes are some of the things that you’ll find inexpensive on the island. Bringing some food from home was very helpful; we used dry ice for packing it in our suitcases. We ate out too. We went to Shirley’s which is a cute little spot close to the home… we ended up stopping there again for the conch salad that’s made on demand right next to Shirley’s. The people on the island are very friendly and helpful. For a night out we went to the Exuma Yacht Club which is like 5 minutes from the house. They have live music on Wednesdays which was a blast!! I would absolutely stay at this house again. Cleo the housekeeper was very responsive and so sweet! Thank you Lisa and Frank for sharing your beautiful beach house.

Incredible Experience!

This is a fabulous house and we could not have been more pleased with our experience there. Absolutely incredible views! The owners were delightful and provided so much information about the island. There were so many nice touches that we appreciated: coffee being provided, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of spaces to relax, the list goes on. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on Exuma. The location was perfect and very close to grocery stores and liquor store. We didn't want for anything with this rental: beach chairs, towels, snorkel equipment, laundry detergent, etc. We'll be back and would most definitely rent Xanadu from these lovely and gracious hosts! Dream Vacation of a Lifetime

The location and property absolutely cannot be better for an island escape. The ocean view from the home is breathtaking, mesmerizing, and oh so relaxing. No filters needed on photos! The home is centrally located, and easy to get to most restaurants and activities. What an incredible home base for fun island adventures like Scuba diving, swimming w/ pigs and sharks, or water taxi-ing to Chat N’ Chill for a Sunday BBQ. Additionally, the hosts, Lisa and Frank, are wonderful, kind, and so communicative — we felt so comfortable and well-informed by the time we arrived. They have put so much love, care, and thoughtful touches throughout this beautiful home - high quality linens, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful decor! We loved every second of our time at Xanadu. Our daughters (now in college) said it was the best vacation we have ever experienced!
